DMCA Copyright Policy

Effective July 16, 2026 · Version 2026-07-16

AtlasHire, Inc. respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users of the Services to do the same. This policy explains how we respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512), and how to submit a takedown notice or a counter-notice. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and User Agreement.

1. Reporting alleged copyright infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material available through the Services infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent (below). We respond to valid notices in accordance with the DMCA, which may include removing or disabling access to the material claimed to be infringing.

2. What a valid takedown notice must include

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must be a written communication that includes substantially the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed or disabled, with information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (for example, the URL or interview/session identifier).
  • Your contact information — name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

3. Designated Copyright Agent

Send DMCA notices and counter-notices to our Designated Copyright Agent:

  • Copyright Agent, AtlasHire, Inc.
  • AtlasHire, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware, United States
  • Email: copyright@atlashire.ai

Please use the subject line “DMCA Notice” so we can route it promptly. Notices that do not substantially comply with the requirements above may not be actionable.

4. What happens after we receive a valid notice

When we receive a compliant notice, we may remove or disable access to the material claimed to be infringing and will make a reasonable effort to notify the user who provided it. The organization or user who supplied the material may submit a counter-notification as described below.

5. Counter-notification

If you believe material of yours was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send our Designated Copyright Agent a written counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) that includes substantially the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

6. Repeat infringers

Consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), AtlasHire, Inc. maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

7. Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages. Do not make false claims.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective date above. Questions about this policy can be directed to copyright@atlashire.ai.
